There was an armed robbery at a gas station Saturday afternoon in Eastend.

Around 3:30, a man filled up his truck and attempted to leave without paying. A gas station employee went outside and RCMP say the man pointed a firearm before fleeing the scene.

The vehicle in question was located at an Eastend residence a short time later. The RCMP—with assistance from a Conservation Officer—were able to make an arrest without incident.
