Manufacturing sales rose 2.8% in Canada to $72.6 billion in October.
In Saskatchewan, sales rose 7.4 percent to $2.39 billion. That was the highest percentage point rise of the provinces, just edging out Albert’s 7.3.
Saskatoon’s Census Metropolitan Area saw an increase of 0.3 percent from September. Sales here were $549 million. Regina managed a whopping 16 percent gain, coming in at $998 million. Regina’s percentage increase was second only to Ottawa-Gatineau, Ontario and Quebec which saw a 17.3 percent hike.

Year over year, Saskatoon’s sales rose 35.4 per cent, Regina was up 24.6 per cent, and Saskatchewan was up 27.3 percent.
