The Saskatchewan Snowmobiling Association is getting 5-hundred-thousand dollars in funding from the federal government for snow trail upgrades.
Association spokesperson Leah Switzer says the money will go towards some groundwork. She says anything that enhances experiences to visitors will be what you see upgraded like building new trail shelters and refurbishing existing ones, as well as upgrading trail grooming equipment.
She adds that as we get into the thick of winter, more and more trails are opening. Visit sasksnow.com for the interactive trail maps.
