With the wind chill dipping below -40 this morning, Saskatoon Emergency Management has issued notice that the Extreme Cold Weather Response has been activated at a Level II. Warm up locations both for day and overnight are in our link below.

The week leading up to Christmas is forecasting temperatures much colder than normal and generally overnight lows will hover close to -30 degrees Celsius with daytime highs not breaking the -20 degree Celsius mark.
