Battleford RCMP reported last week that officers were investigating five separate incidents of shots fired between December 10th and 13th and is now reporting some movement in these investigations. There were no fatalities in these incidents. click here for original story with more details.

The North Battleford RCMP Gang Task Force reports that while conducting proactive patrols to maintain public safety last Thursday the 15th, a black SUV was spotted that matched the description of the suspect vehicle where a female was shot while driving on December 13th. Officers say the vehicle was stolen. Two women, 26-year-old Tracy Wright of Moosomin First Nation and 40-year-old Allison Curley of North Battleford are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Wright is also charged with driving while prohibited.

RCMP say a traffic stop and search was conducted on a second vehicle. It’s alleged illicit drugs and three sawed-off rifles were seized. The charges for 19-year-old Adrian Dreaver and 24-year-old Keagan Jackson of North Battleford include possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a firearm in a vehicle and possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition. Dreaver and Jackson appeared in Provincial Court today. Eighteen-year-old Morningstar Moosomin of North Battleford is charged with failing to comply with a release order.
