For Saskatoon Public Schools, wheelchair transportation is automatically cancelled for the entire day when Environment Canada reports the temperature with wind chill at 7 a.m. is minus 40 degrees Celsius or colder.

First Student and Hertz Northern Bus school buses are automatically cancelled for the entire day when Environment Canada reports the temperature with wind chill at 7 a.m. is minus 45 degrees Celsius or colder.

At 7 a.m. this morning the temperature with wind chill was -42 degrees Celsius.

For the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools which is First Student buses, Route 200 to Chief Whitecap School is Cancelled as is Route 202 to Aden Bowman Collegiate.  And W 1,2,3,4 for Cosmopolitan Industries are cancelled as well.

The Prairie Spirit School division says only buses in Blaine Lake, Duck Lake and Leask will run for the morning route and they will not use their wheelchair lifts.
