Following a successful distribution day on Tuesday for CJWW’s Secret Santa, providing toys and food hampers for families in need , a news release from the Foundation says the warehouse on 52nd Street was broken into later that night. About $4,000 worth toys were taken, some equipment and two vehicles.
The vehicles were on loan from The Wyant Group to transport food and toy hampers to those who couldn’t make it to the warehouse. Both vehicles have since been found. Anyone who may have information about the break-in and theft is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
