Over the Christmas Holidays City Hall is closed until Wednesday. It will be closed on Monday January 2nd as well as it is a statutory holiday.
Remai Modern, and Saskatoon Public Library locations are closed Sunday and Monday as well as New Year’s Day. Library locations will close early today (Dec 24) at 5 p.m. as well as on December 31st. The library is also closed for the statutory holiday on January 2nd.
You do not have to pay for parking on December 25th, the 27th, January 1st or January 2nd.
However, parking time limits are still in effect, and you do have to pay for parking on Boxing Day.
If your vehicle has been impounded for any reason – you can’t get it out of the impound lot Sunday, Monday, January 1 and 2.
Except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, the Landfill is open on regular winter hours.
Waste collection isn’t impacted so abide by your existing schedule.
Saskatoon Transit will operate with Holiday Service on December 25, 26 & January 1. Route 1225-Jingle Bell Express will provide free service on Boxing Day, December 26.
Access Transit will operate with Holiday Service on December 26, 27, and January 2. Holiday Service hours are 8:15 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Access Transit subscriptions do not apply on Statutory Holidays
In partnership with SGI, Saskatoon Transit is offering free service on ALL routes after 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
Transit Customer Service Center will be closed for walk-in customers on December 25 & 26 and January 1, but phone lines (306-975-3100) will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.).
All indoor rinks will be closed on December 25, 26 & January 1. Gordie Howe Kinsmen arena will be closed from December 22 to January 1, 2022. Lions Arena will be closed from December 23 to January 1, 2023.
The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo is closed December 25th but has regular hours of operation on December 26th and January 1st which are: Zoo 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Forestry Farm Park 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Located beside the Delta Bessborough Hotel, the Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink @Nutrien Plaza is open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. They recommend you bring your own skates as they are in the process of re-building their skate inventory.
