The Saskatchewan SPCA fears some programs may be in peril because of slow sales for their top fund raising campaign. Christmas Cash Lottery ticket sales are only at 47-percent following its mid-October launch. Community Coordinator Josh Hourie says proceeds are used for their animal welfare and cruelty prevention initiatives. They include helping homeless pet owners as well as human and animal victims of violence and a program for animal rescues. The lottery features 70-thousand dollars in cash prizes including a 25-thousand dollar grand prize. The early bird deadline is 11 a.m. Friday with daily cash draws through December. Ticket prices start at 25-dollars. Click here to enter.
