As of Monday, Canadian public servants working full-time from home will have to begin either working on site full time or in a hybrid model of working from home and on site. On the Government of Canada’s website, the head of the Public Service of Canada, Janice Charette, says COVID-19 showed everyone that work could continue in a different way, but there is also value in shared in-person experiences which are essential to cohesive, collaborative and high-performing organizations. The transition begins on Monday with full implementation by March 31st where workers must be in the office at least two to three times a week.
