The Saskatoon Fire Department had to take off the door of a passenger truck to get an injured driver out after a collision with a semi tractor-trailer.
Several witnesses reported the trapped driver to the fire department after this morning’s accident at Faithful Avenue and 60th Street East.
Two fire engines and a rescue unit went to the scene at about 10 o’clock and performed the rescue after determining there were no hazardous materials on site.
The man driving the passenger truck was taken to hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
The semi driver didn’t need medical attention.
