After being stagnant for two weeks, the SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA load in Saskatoon’s wastewater has decreased by 59.4 per cent in the latest reporting period compared to the previous weeks.
In Prince Albert, COVID-19 viral RNA in wastewater has increased by 11.8 per cent meanwhile, SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA load in North Battleford’s wastewater has increased by 148.4 per cent.
For all three communities viral RNA in wastewater is considered medium. All COVID-19 detected is some subvariant of Omicron.
The values are determined based on averages of three individual daily measurements.
