Saskatoon Police are investigating an incident where a shot was fired early Thursday evening in the 100 block of 33rd Street West.

Patrol officers and members of the Guns and Gangs Unit set up a perimeter around the residence around 7pm.  A 25 year old man was arrested without incident. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators also located a prohibited firearm and ammunition.

The man is facing several firearm related charges.
