Statistics Canada says residential construction investment was off one per cent in Saskatchewan in September. We were one of five provinces registering declines. The others were all greater than ours. Nationally, investment rose 1.2 per cent. Total investment in Saskatchewan came in at $159 million.
On the non-residential side, investment in our province was down 1.1 per cent. We were again, one of five provinces showing in the negative. Two of them had smaller declines. Nationally, investment was up 0.4 per cent. Total investment in the province was about $132 million in September.
