The Saskatoon Police Service responded to a report of a man in possession of a possible firearm at 4:46 p.m. on Wednesday.

Patrol officers were able to identify an exact address where the suspect had entered in the 3000 block of Arlington Avenue which would have to be one of the apartment buildings by the Eastview Shopping Centre, which is across from Pope John Paul II elementary school.

A male exited the home and was taken into custody without incident. He was arrested for various Criminal Code Charges as well as outstanding warrants and is in court this morning.
