Fifteen Saskatchewan municipalities have received funding for improvement projects from the provincial government.
They will share a combined 500-thousand-dollar investment supported by the Targeted Sector Support Initiative. The projects include a land use plan in the RM of Paddockwood north of Prince Albert, a study on the feasibility of a wastewater system in the RM of Sherwood, and fire fighter training in the Village of Elbow. The Government of Saskatchewan is encouraging other municipalities to apply for Targeted Sector Support funding when applications begin to be accepted in early May.
