A 50-year-old woman from Ontario has been identified as the person killed in a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway on Monday evening.
The woman was driving a westbound semi that rolled about five kilometres west of Indian Head around 7:45pm. The semi was then hit in the centre median of the highway by an eastbound semi.
The driver of the eastbound semi was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The highway at the accident scene was reduced to one lane for most of Tuesday while all of the debris was removed.
