Two people that had been held in custody as “persons of interest” in a homicide investigation have now been charged. The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section has charged a 43-year-old man with 2nd degree murder and a 37-year-old woman is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

On Tuesday, the Police Service had said officers were investigating the suspicious death of a 44-year-old woman and traffic had been restricted on Range Road 3062, near the intersection with 11th Street West, off the far west end of 11th Street. The investigation continues, and anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the police or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
