A 28-year old man was shot during an incident late Wednesday night in the 500 block of 20th Street West.

The man was treated for non-life threatening injuries. An investigation led police officers to an apartment unit in the 1700 block of 20th Street. Two suspects were arrested and a sawed-off rifle and ammunition was recovered.

A 20 year old Saskatoon man has been charged with aggravated assault along with several firearms-related offences. In addition to firearms charges, an 18-year-old Saskatoon woman was also charged with assaulting a police officer while being processed in Detention. The officer did not sustain any serious injuries.
