Shortly after 4 this morning (Fri), Esterhazy and Broadview RCMP were alerted about a break and enter and suspicious death at a home about 20 kilometres south of Stockholm and Esterhazy in southeast Saskatchewan. When officers arrived, a man was found dead. The initial investigation has determined three males broke into the home and stole at least one firearm and the homeowner’s vehicle. An injured woman was transported to hospital. The stolen vehicle was then located abandoned on a nearby grid, on fire.

There is no description of the suspects at this point with investigation in its initial stages. RCMP ask the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police immediately by calling 911 or contact your local police service or RCMP detachment.
