Around11:00 p.m. Sunday night officers responded to a restaurant in the 400 block of 21st Street East for a reported break and enter.

The Saskatoon Police Service says a suspect was observed on security cameras inside of the business where he had reportedly tried to barricade himself inside while appearing to consume liquor from the bar.

Once inside, officers say they found a suspect hiding in a storage room.

A 46-year-old man was arrested with the assistance of the Canine Unit and the injuries he suffered in that arrest were treated by paramedics in Detention. He has been charged with Break and Enter.
