The recovery of a stolen car early this Tuesday in Regina has resulted in charges against a 27-year-old man.

Scott Edward Pelletier was arrested after officers laid down a spike belt when the driver refused to stop and took off near Dewdney and Albert Street.

Police say he surrendered without incident.
