The 2023 Canada Winter Games continue competition today and run through Sunday, March 5th in Prince Edward Island. The Games feature 20 sports and about 3,600 athletes from all 13 of Canada’s provinces and territories. Saskatchewan has 317 participants, including 217 athletes, from 60 different communities in the province. Saskatchewan has 15 total medals…three gold, six silver and six bronze medals after seven days of action. First half sports, continuing and wrapping up today, are biathlon, women’s curling, freestyle skiing, artistic gymnastics, trampoline, men’s hockey, karate, ringette, long track speed-skating, short track speed-skating, squash table tennis and wheelchair basketball.

The 2023 Saskatchewan Winter Games continue and conclude today in Regina and area with over 1,700 participants and over 1,000 volunteers taking part from across the province. Second half sports competition, continue and wind up today, and include cross country and Para Nordic skiing, figure skating, women’s and men’s futsal, judo, wrestling and target shooting.
