Job creation, healthcare and the rising cost of living were the three main priorities New Democrat MLA’s heard from residents during a caucus tour, according to leader Carla Beck.
“No matter what community I visit, people say Scott Moe just isn’t focused on the issues that matter most to them, like healthcare, the outrageous cost of food and fuel, and good-paying jobs,” said Beck. “That’s what we’ll be prosecuting over the next ten weeks all the way through to the 2024 election.”
The NDP notes Saskatchewan ranks last in job creation since Scott Moe became Premier five years ago.
Beck’s comments come from a Wednesday news conference in Regina highlighting the spring legislative session, which will begin next Monday, March 6. The 2023-24 provincial budget is slated to be released on Wednesday, March 22nd.
