The City of Prince Albert says the Transit trial which was to begin March 13th is now being pushed back.
Prince Albert city officials cite a shortage of available bus drivers and say they are working with their transit contractor First Bus Canada to hire additional drivers who can operate the extended hours.
Prince Albert approved extended transit hours as part of one-time Public Transit funding from the federal and provincial government. The original trial was approved to run from March 13, 2023, to March 31, 2024. A new date for the trial to start has yet to be determined.
