Three women have been charged in connection to a dangerous driving incident. The Saskatoon Police Service says around 4 o’clock Monday morning, officers noticed a vehicle believed to be stolen near the intersection of 11th Street West and Avenue W South.
Police say the vehicle sped off when a traffic stop was initiated. The Air Support Unit tracked the vehicle which was eventually abandoned in the 600 block of Lisgar Avenue.
Three people were spotted taking off on foot and they were arrested a short distance away. A 27-year-old woman is charged with dangerous driving, evading police and possession of stolen property. A 29-year-old woman is charge with breach of conditions, and a 37-year-old woman was arrested on outstanding warrants from the Warman RCMP.
