The City of Meadow Lake has signed a water supply agreement with SaskWater that will see the sale of the city’s water treatment plant to the Crown Corporation. Mayor Merlin Seymour says, “This partnership provides a long-term solution to many of the city’s water supply challenges.” SaskWater takes over operations as of January 1st. The existing plant workers will be transitioned to SaskWater. With the addition of Meadow Lake, the Crown Corporation will be providing water services to six cities in the province.
