The Prince Albert Police Service says an officer responding to a weapons complaint collided with another vehicle around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the officer had emergency lights and sirens activated when the crash occurred at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 28th Street West.

Parkland Ambulance paramedics tended to minor injuries at the scene but no one was taken to hospital.

Both vehicles were no longer drivable as a result of the collision and were towed from the scene.
