The Saskatoon Police Service is urging the public to be aware of coyotes after three were spotted and two were euthanized over the weekend. On Saturday morning, Patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Feheregyhazi Boulevard in the Aspen Ridge neighbourhood after a caller said a coyote was lying in an alley acting strange. Police located the animal and confirmed it to be in distress and it was safely euthanized.

Then, over the noon hour that same day, police were called about another sick coyote, this time at the Sutherland Dog Park near Fedoruk Drive and Central Avenue.
The responding officer noted that it was in distress and behaving abnormally, so it was safely euthanized, and then the officer was approached by someone else who saw another coyote acting strangely in the park.

A news release from the Police Service says it was confirmed to be in distress by the officer, but it fled before it could be euthanized.  If you see any animals that could pose a threat to public safety, call the police immediately and if it is an emergency, call 911.
