Prince Albert Police issued an advisory around midnight to let the public know they no longer needed to avoid the area of McDonald Avenue and Branion Drive.

Police say the incident that brought them to the neighbourhood had concluded.

Around 4 p.m. Thursday Prince Albert Police had advised the public to avoid the area and police were expected to be on scene through the night. The investigation is still underway and more information is expected to be released later today.
