Just before 1 p.m. in the afternoon on Tuesday, Moose Jaw Police say a semi hauling an air seeder hit the highway overhead sign in the 1700 block of Main Street North, which is also Highway 2, causing major damage and traffic tie ups. As of 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon traffic was still being diverted onto Diefenbaker Drive. Police couldn’t say for sure how long the highway would be blocked but did say the Department of Highways was expected to be there all night.
