RCMP are trying to find the driver of an SUV that hit the ditch last Friday, meanwhile the female passenger is facing a variety of charges which led to 29-year-old Gailynn Ratte of Pinehouse Lake making her second court appearance in Prince Albert Tuesday.

Montreal Lake RCMP responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Highway 2 near the Waskesiu River Bridge and when checking on those inside say they saw drug trafficking activity in the vehicle which is when they commenced a drug trafficking investigation.

The driver fled on foot and his identity can’t be confirmed because RCMP say he provided them with false identity documents. The male appeared to be approximately 5’6″ weighing approximately 160 lbs with a medium build. He had brown coloured eyes and black hair. He also appeared to have face tattoos but could not be clearly identified. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Police seized 242.54 grams of methamphetamine, 21.33 grams of cocaine, a sum of cash, and items consistent with drug trafficking activity including two cell phones, a digital scale, and score sheets.
