Saskatoon Police have laid charges in connection with a dangerous driving incident around 1am on Tuesday.
Officers spotted a vehicle with a stolen license plate at Taylor Street and Boychuk Drive. The vehicle sped away when police attempted to pull it over.
The vehicle was located parked and abandoned in the 600 block of Hastings Crescent. A police service dog led officers to a residence in the area, where a 57-year-old man was arrested without incident.
He has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, Dangerous Driving, Evading Police and Breach of Conditions.
