Regina Police have confirmed a homicide in the death of a man found Sunday morning in the 12-hundred block of Queen Street.
Police say 23-year-old Keenan Scott Toto was found lying in the street at about 4 o’clock.
The Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification and the Coroners’ office have taken part in the investigation.
Meanwhile Regina Police are on the lookout for a suspect in the theft of a black Nissan Sentra.
Police say it was taken from the owner at gunpoint this afternoon at about 1 o’clock while the victim was boosting another car.
The theft happened in the 800-block of Angus Street. The car was recovered but continue to look for a man with a medium complexion wearing a black jacket or shirt.
Police are also looking for information in a possible weapons case.
A loss prevention officer spotted what he thought was a gun in the bag of a man who was leaving a store in the 12-hundred block of Broad Street on Sunday, but police weren’t able to track him down.
He was wearing a red toque, black jacket and grey pants while carrying a black backpack. He was with a women wearing a black hat with small Canadian Flag patch.
