The Regina Police Service says because of an online threat made on Wednesday toward those who attend and work at Sheldon Williams Collegiate, there were extra School Resource Officers on site at the school on Thursday. The Regina Police Tech Crimes Unit worked overnight after being alerted about the threat on Wednesday and continued into Thursday to assess the credibility of the threats, which have been deemed unsubstantiated. The SROs remained on site for the rest of the school day as a precaution.
