Ramadan is coming to an end for Muslims in Saskatchewan and Eid prayers are scheduled tomorrow and Saturday at Prairiland Park in Saskatoon which has traditionally in the past had one of the largest gathering of Muslims in the province at the close of a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.
More than 10,000 gathered last year at Prairieland Park to mark the end of Ramadan.
Saskatchewan’s largest mosque is also hosting the end of Ramadan with Eid-ul-Fitr prayers.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama` Saskatoon Mosque is located on the southeast corner of Highway 16 and Boychuck Drive in Saskatoon.
