Two people at the Dene High School in La Loche were stabbed by a student today (Fri). Media reports say the student is in custody.and the two people are being treated. One is a student and the other is a staff member. Those are all the details we have at this point.

It was just over seven years ago that four people were killed and seven others injured in a shooting spree in La Loche. On January 22nd of 2016, two brothers were killed at their home, and then later, two teachers at the La Loche Community School.
