The Crown has stayed sexual exploitation charges against a former teacher at a school in Hepburn, about 45 kilometres north of Saskatoon.

Ryan Hutchinson, 35, was charged fifteen months ago by RCMP.

An RCMP news release in February 2022 stated the alleged victim was a teenage student.

When a charge is stayed, it is put on hold and the Crown has the option of bringing it back within one year. However, that rarely occurs.
