Next fall will be the first inductees for the brand new Lieutenant Governor’s Post-Secondary Teaching Award. It’s a first for Saskatchewan and for post-secondary teachers. There are four categories – distinguished teaching, equity, diversion and inclusion, Indigenous teaching and innovative teaching.
Advanced Education Minister Gord Wyant says, “This award gives us the opportunity to recognize and thank them for mentoring and shaping our future leaders.” All publicly funded post-secondary institutions will be eligible to submit nominations from May 1st through June 30th. We will find out who the honourees are next fall.
