Statistics Canada data says Saskatchewan leads the nation in 2022 Real Gross Domestic Product.
The report (pictured) shows Saskatchewan ranking first among the provinces while boasting an increase of 5.7 per cent in 2022 Real G-D-P from 2021. The biggest contributors to Saskatchewan’s increase in 2022 Real G-D-P came from a 45.6 per cent increase from 2021 in the agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting industries. Every province and territory, except Newfoundland and Labrador, saw economic growth in 2022.
