Two more people have been arrested in connection to the Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit’s investigation into the death of a 16-year-old boy from Cote First Nation on November 19th. Three days later, 19 year old Edgar Kakakaway Jr was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder, assault causing bodily harm, and failing to comply with a condition of a release order. Then, 41-year-old Edgar Lyle Kakakawy was charged on November 29th with accessary after the fact to murder.

The RCMP’s weekly report says two more people are charged with accessory after the fact to murder. On April 19th, investigators arrested 21-year-old Telesphore Wapash from Keeseekoose First Nation and the next day 44-year-old Sara Kakakaway from Calgary was arrested.
