As was announced in the provincial budget at the end of March, over $2 million is being invested to support flood hazard mapping efforts in Saskatchewan. A release from the province says the Water Security Agency will work with communities identified as being at risk for possible flood damage. This year’s investment build on work already completed and this year will carry on the mapping and hazard identification for Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Regina, Weyburn, Tisdale and Melfort.
