If you were in Evergreen this morning, you may have noticed a large police response. The Saskatoon Police Service says around 9 this morning (Fri), officers responded to the area of Kloppenburg Way near Kloppenburg link for a report of an armed man. Nearby schools were placed into a perimeter lockdown. Officers learned the man was in a position authorized to carry a firearm. There was no threat to public safety and the school lockdowns were lifted.
