The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former N-F-L defensive lineman Bryan Cox Jr. on Monday.

The 6’3′, 270-pound St. Louis product signed with Carolina after going unselected in the 2017 N-F-L Draft. He played two seasons with the Panthers before stints with Cleveland, Buffalo and Indianapolis, making 31 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack and one fumble recovery over 26 career N-F-L games. RIDERS SIGN FORMER NFL DEFENSIVE LINEMAN BRYAN COX JR.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive lineman Bryan Cox Jr.

Cox Jr. (6’3-270) joins the Green and White after six seasons in the NFL. The 28-year-old was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft and played two seasons there. Cox Jr. went on to spend time with the Cleveland Browns (2019), the Buffalo Bills (2020-21), and the Indianapolis Colts (2022). The Florida native saw action in 26 NFL games, recording 31 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery.

Cox Jr. played five collegiate seasons at the University of Florida. In 45 games, the former Gator logged 98 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, one pass knockdown, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
