The latest results from researchers at the University of Saskatchewan show the amount of SARS-CoV2 viral RNA in wastewater in Saskatoon has increased by 130.6 per cent.

This is based on averages of three individual daily measurements in the latest reporting period which is then compared to the weekly average of the previous weeks.

North Battleford has seen a similar increase, at 129.3 per cent, in the latest reporting period. The amount of COVID-19 in wastewater in both cities is considered to be at medium level.

In Prince Albert the amount of viral RNA in wastewater has dropped by 38.2 per cent and it is regarded as low.
