May 9 may be “Slow Down Move Over Day,” but CAA Saskatchewan is making that message public for the rest of this month.
CAA Saskatchewan’s Slow Down Move Over Day is observed on the second Tuesday in May annually and is a special day of safety in observance of tow truck operators and first responders working on provincial highways. That also includes police officers, paramedics, firefighters, highway patrol staff and construction workers.
To heighten public awareness, C-A-A Saskatchewan has put together 60-second and 15-second video messages, which can be seen on their social media channels and on the motor club’s website between now and May 31, regarding safety for tow truck operators, first responders assisting motorists and construction workers on provincial highways.
