Thanks to the quarterback position, the term “rookie camp” is somewhat of a mis-nomer with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Veteran C-F-Ler and first year member of the Green and White Trevor Harris (pictured), along with Rider returnees under centre Mason Fine and Jake Dolegala, were among seven signal-callers taking part in the first on-field session with Roughriders’ freshmen Wednesday morning at Griffiths Stadium. In all, 56 players were on the field. That number will grow to 85, plus non-counters, when Saskatchewan’s main training camp starts on Sunday.
