Regina Police Service were dispatched to a report of a break and enter in the 2100 block of Hamilton Street on Friday afternoon. Police arrived on the scene and entered the residence through an unsecured door. Police officers observed a male sitting in a chair with a sawed off shotgun at his feet. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Police also found an improvised home-made slam gun next to where the man had been sitting. Both the slam gun and the sawed off shotgun were loaded.
Thirty-two-year-old, Jordan Thomas McNabb, is facing several firearm related charges and will appear in Provincial Court on Monday morning.
