Two men from British Columbia have had their drug trafficking activities halted by the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit.

Both 23-year-old Sheldon Narayan and 24-year-old Calvin Kam face several charges relating to drug trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime. Narayan was also charged with firearms-related offences and was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant out of B-C for drug trafficking.

Both men have associations to Project Rancid, an operation enforced by the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit on May 4, designed to disrupt a street-level drug trafficking group in Saskatoon. A four-day investigation concluded at about Noon on May 16 when the two men suspected of drug trafficking were arrested at a business in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue North without incident. Aided by the Tactical Support Unit, the S-P-S Drug Unit executed two search warrants – one in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue North and the other in the 900 block of Feheregyhazi Boulevard.
