Saturday is Green and White Day at S-M-F Field, not a camp session at Griffiths Stadium with head coach Craig Dickenson explaining what he sees the day being about…..
The gates open at Noon Saturday to the public at S-M-F Field with the Green and White scrimmage at 3 and the State of the Nation address in between at 1.
Meanwhile, the Riders announced the addition of Global punter Adam Korsak to the roster Friday morning. The 25-year-old Rutgers grad won the Ray Guy Award in 2022 as college football’s most outstanding punter. Saskatchewan picked Korsak third overall in the C-F-L’s Global Draft this year, but the Australian attended N-F-L rookie mini-camps with Kansas City and Pittsburgh in the interim. JOIN THE ROUGHRIDERS FOR THE ANNUAL GREEN AND WHITE GAME
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are excited to invite fans to the annual Green and White Day at SMF Field in Saskatoon on Saturday, May 20th.
The gates are set to open at noon, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy an afternoon of family fun which includes face painting, inflatables, music, and appearances from the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team, the 620 CKRM Rider Pep Band and Gainer the Gopher.
Get the latest updates on the state of the franchise at 1:00 p.m., when Roughrider President and CEO Craig Reynolds, Vice President and General Manager Jeremy O’Day, and Head Coach Craig Dickenson join host Daniella Ponticelli for a panel discussion on the team on and off the field. After the discussion, Daniella will open up the floor to questions from Rider Nation.
The State of the Nation will take place in the main hall of the Gordie Howe Sports Complex.
The Green and White game is set to kickoff at 3 p.m. and will go until around 5 p.m. As always, fans are invited to line the fences at the end of the game for a player autograph session. This will be the best chance for fans to get their favourite player’s autograph!

RIDERS ADD RAY GUY AWARD WINNING PUNTER ADAM KORSAK
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Global punter Adam Korsak.
Korsak (6’0-185) was selected by the Roughriders in the first round, third overall, of the 2023 CFL Global Draft. He most recently attended rookie minicamps with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The 25-year-old is coming off a sensational senior season at Rutgers where he was named the 2022 Ray Guy Award winner, presented to college football’s most outstanding punter. Korsak led a unit that held opponents to minus 11 return yards, best in the nation, and allowed just one positive return over 75 attempts. The Australian pinned a nations-best 32 punts inside the 20, ranked third overall in net punting (43.57) and punted 14 balls 50 or more yards. For his efforts he also took home First Team All-America (Sporting News) and Third Team All-America (Phil Steele) honours and was invited to the Senior Bowl. He ends his collegiate career as the NCAA all-time leader in punting attempts (349) and yardage (15,318).
He has been highly decorated over his career, earning 12 All-Big Ten honours, eight team honours – including spending three years as Team Captain, and twice being named Special Teams MVP.
Over five seasons as a Scarlet Knight, Korsak played 58 games and made 349 punt attempts for 15,318 yards. He held a 43.9-yard average per punt, pinned 145 punts inside the 20-yard line, booted 63 punts more 50+ yards, including a career long of 79, and set the NCAA record in net punting in 2021 at 45.25 yards.
